Papa Day Blues Band played their first gig together in 2017 on Father's Day and from then on, they became known as the Papa Day Blues Band. The band features longtime central California musicians Obie Dee (Sacramento Blues Society’s Hall of Fame) guitar and vocals, Mike Ward guitar and vocals, David Faria Sr. percussion, and Tony Passantino bass guitar and vocals. Obie Dee’s guitar skills and Mike Ward’s slide guitar and blues rock vibe combine for a great rockin’ blues groove. David Faria Sr. on drums and bass guitarist Tony Passantino keep the rhythm flowing for a complete exciting rockin' blues sound.
